Using a conversion Killer Front and Center

By this excessive use of banners and images have caused banner blindness. You can simple out this like ignoring banners even though it’s on the screen. It has almost become an instinct to avoid slides on the screen.

So, next time you put your product in any slider, be sure it’s not going to get clicked as much as you would want. It’s time web designers should stop loving those funky slides and make the site sleeker and easy to use.

Background videos are distracting

There are lots of web designers out there who get far beyond to make the visitor go WOW, but not all of them are successful to get that word out from the visitors. Sometimes they even end up irritating the visitor. And one of the trends that irritate people is a bulky video on the video.

If you are selling some products, you should get information on how to highlight them on the page. Instead, if you fill the background with videos, the visitors will be distracted, and they won't be able to find what they are looking for.

What’s with the ancient icons?

Yes. I am talking about those boring old ancient hieroglyphic-like icons. I’m sure they are sleek and straight. But, if the shoppers can’t find what they are looking for, they will get frustrated and leave your site. Remember, a confused mind never buys.

Although the icons are a great space saver, what is its use if people can't figure out what it is for. The last thing you want to do is scare off your customer by confusing them with ancient icons. Remember, a confused mind never buys.
